Be pregnant or have a child under the age of 3. Experiencing two or more risk factors such as: housing instability; low income; traumatic events; domestic violence; CPS involvement; mental illness; chemical dependency; young parents; recent immigrants; low educational attainment -Be willing to voluntarily participate in the program for 2 years. - Be living in Snohomish County.

Description

Parents as Teachers is a relationship based parenting support program, offering twice a month in-home visits to families with children under 3 or currently pregnant and living with stress or chronic hardships. Parent educators’ partner with parents to provide personalized visits focused on parent-child activities, child health and development information, and resource referrals. We aim to serve families for at least two years.
