To qualify, you must be a resident of King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. Those who are enrolled in one of six state cash benefit programs can get a subsidized annual pass for trips on King County Metro, Everett Transit, Community Transit and Sound Transit services.
A ProviderOne number or DSHS Client ID number. A copy (.jpg,.png,.pdf,.heic) of your photo ID, The most recent copy of your DSHS award letter (your TANF award letter or HEN award letter will work.).

The Subsidized Annual (Bus) Pass is offered to King, Pierce, and Snohomish County residents who are at or below 80% of the federal poverty level and are enrolled in one of six state cash benefit programs. They can obtain a subsidized annual pass valid for free travel on King County Metro, Sound Transit, and Community Transit. Pierce Transit does not accept the pass, but will give a discount to riders with the pass. Call the CHAP line to apply.
Community Health Access Program (CHAP) Line
The CHAP line is a telephone assistance program serving King County residents by connecting individuals and families to health insurance, health care services, and other resources. CHAP services are free and confidential.
