Family Support Services at PREPARES Pregnancy & Parenting Support (Eastern WA)

Eligibility

Any parent or caregiver who is pregnant or has a child under 5 years old.

Required documents

Photo ID (Driver's license, state issued ID, passport or student ID) and documentation of children under 5 years old (health insurance card, birth certificate copy, immunization record copy, childcare enrollment form)

Walk in Hours: Mon - Thurs 10:00am - 2:00pm

Application process

Start the process by calling or completing the online form. Staff will conduct a phone intake to identify specific supports available. You will be connected to the nearest community PREPARES program that can help with essential needs or parenting support.

Description

The CAPA/PREPARES program provides diapers, wipes, formula every 30 days with no appointment necessary. Other items such as strollers, pack and plays, high chairs, and baby clothing are offered every 60 days and need to be ordered beforehand. This program also offers parenting classes, case management, breastfeeding support, kindergarten preparation, and a support group for moms.
