SUN Bucks - Summer EBT Program at Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)
SUN Bucks is a Summer EBT program that provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. Each eligible child will receive a one-time payment of $120 in food benefits on a dedicated SUN Bucks card. Cards will be issued beginning mid-June through end of August 2024 and expire 122 days from issuance.

Eligibility
Age 8-18 and part of a household that receives SNAP/Basic Food, TANF, or SFA Enrolled in a school that offers National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and qualify for free/reduced-price meals at school Kids who are identified to their school as homeless, foster, or migrant students should also be directly certified
