WE SERVE: Families with children in South Whidbey Island, especially those facing challenges like isolation, poverty, or lack of local services. WE PROVIDE: Help with school, parenting, paying bills, birthdays and holidays, winter clothes, connections to community resources. OTHER: Services are available to all families with school-aged children in South Whidbey Island, regardless of their circumstances.

Afghan Health Initiative partners with Kidvantage to provide children ages 0 to 12 years old with important items such as carseats, strollers, diapers, wipes, baby pack-n-plays, bassinets, clothing, toys, books, and more. We are also able to provide items for expecting and postpartum mothers with maternity wear, personal care goods and mother-infant support items.

Provides new coats, scarves, gloves, blankets, shoes, socks, backpacks and other warm items to low-income, homeless, and foster school-aged children.
Program to help Whatcom Dream Financial Empowerment Course Graduates purchase school clothing and supplies for their children. Participants can purchase a $100 gift card for only $25. Proceeds go into a scholarship fund, which allows Whatcom Dream to offer Financial Empowerment courses for free.  
Essential school supplies and a new backpack are available for local pre-K through 12th graders preparing to attend a public or private school. Distribution happens in August, check website for details.
