New Baby, New Family at Island County Public Health

WE SERVE: Families with newborns and pregnant mothers in Island County. WE PROVIDE: Visits from experienced public health nurses who provide guidance and care for you and your baby, including breastfeeding and answers to questions about your baby's health and development. These visits can take place in your home, at a public location, in our offices, or even over the phone—whatever works best for you.

Postpartum Doula Services at Global Perinatal Services

Provides home visits that offer up to 20 hours of postpartum support including newborn care, resources and breastfeeding to families with a newborn or up to 6 months old baby. Family Connects links parents to the individual community resources that align with their family's needs. If you live in Pierce County and you are pregnant or have an infant less than 12 weeks old, visit Family Connects website to request free, post-birth support from a nurse.
