Family Conversations is a program for families with children from birth to age three who are deaf or hard-of-hearing (D/HH). The groups provide time for parents/guardians to get more information, learn S.E.E. (Signing Exact English) signs, meet deaf/hard-of-hearing community members and connect with other parents/guardians. Playgroups for the children give them a chance to practice language and social skills using music, dance, story time and singing.
WSDS provides assistance and resources to children who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, or deaf-blind.
This program helps babies in Washington receive a hearing screening at birth and babies identified as deaf or hard of hearing receive necessary early support services.
Provides hearing tests and hearing aids for those in need. $50 copay required, all other costs covered by Bellingham Central Lions Club and the Lions Foundation.
