This online locator can be used to find your local DSHS Office (CSO) and apply in person for state programs such as Basic Food, TANF, WorkFirst, BFET, HEN, Subsidized Annual (Bus) Pass, Disability Support, Classic Medicaid, and more.
Using this Web portal, you can apply for a number of public assistance programs, such as Basic Food, Child Care Subsidies, TANF, Classic Medicaid (for adults 65 and older and individuals with disabilities), and others. You may still need to contact DSHS to schedule an interview and verification.
Call to apply or check on the status of your SNAP or TANF application, ask questions about your benefits, report a change of circumstance or complete your Basic Food interview & eligibility reviews. This line also assists with BFET, WorkFirst, HEN and Classic Medicaid applications.
This program allows you to purchase groceries online using your Basic Food benefits (EBT Card & PIN). Available ONLY at the following stores/websites: Safeway.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com and A&Jmarket.com.

Swipe your EBT card for the amount you want to spend, you will receive that amount in EBT tokens and the same amount in SNAP Market Match dollars. Markets match $25 or more per day. SUN Bucks is a Summer EBT program that provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. Each eligible child will receive a one-time payment of $120 in food benefits on a dedicated SUN Bucks card. Cards will be issued beginning mid-June through end of August 2024 and expire 122 days from issuance.
