Fresh Bucks is a healthy food program that helps low income Seattle neighbors afford fruits and vegetables. Eligible and enrolled customers receive $40 each month to spend at participating farmers markets, independent grocers, and supermarkets using the Fresh Bucks Card or Healthy Savings app.

Provides limited emergency financial assistance through vouchers for food, gas, and other basic needs.

Provides assistance to residents of Blaine, Birch Bay, Custer, and Point Roberts who have short-term emergency needs for financial assistance, including utility bills (shut-off impending), critical prescription needs, grocery vouchers (when other food assistance is not available), and emergency gasoline assistance.

Provides limited financial assistance vouchers for people in need living in Whatcom County. Helps pay for gasoline, food, utilities, phone bills, bus passes, and ID and driver's licenses. Amounts range from $50 to $200. Available only once every twelve months.

The Fresh Bucks program is a partnership with the Orcas Community Resource Center, San Juan County Health and Community Services, and Orcas Food Co-op. It provides up to a $20 benefit for each purchase at the Orcas Food Co-op or Orcas Island Farmers Market for low income families living on Orcas Island. Apply online.
