Kaleidoscope Play & Learn Groups offer parents and caregivers the opportunity to support their children's early learning through everyday activities and build healthy relationships with each other. Please use the interactive map to locate and call the group that fits your needs for enrollment.

WE SERVE: Toddlers, preschoolers with their parents/guardians. WE PROVIDE: Family storytimes to prepare young minds for the adventures of reading. Music, movement, play time or art activity may be included. Families from all local areas are invited to attend.

WE SERVE: Families with children — including infants, toddlers, and young teens — in Oak Harbor and surrounding communities. WE PROVIDE: Preventive dental care, emergency treatments, first dental visits restorative procedures, and frenectomy (toung-tie) treatments. Services are tailored to help children feel comfortable and have a postive experience.

WE SERVE: Anyone who is in need of free diapers and hygiene supplies. WE PROVIDE: free toiletries including diapers, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, detergent, and many other kinds of toiletries. OTHER: The Garage of Blessings is available to anyone in need with no documentation required. Each shopper can fill one bag plus five extra items that do not fit in a bag

WE SERVE: Parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5 years hold in need of clothing and supplies. WE PROVIDE: Supportive environments to shop for free gently used clothing, baby items, diapers, shoes, as well as formula and books at two locations on Whidbey Island (Oak Harbor and Langley). OTHER: Parents and caregivers of children from birth to age 5 are eligible.

WE SERVE: Families with children ages birth to five looking for a place to connect with other children and caregivers. WE PROVIDE: A welcoming place guided by an early childhood facilitator and supported by loving trained volunteers that provides activities that stimulate healthy development and creates opportunities for growth and discovery and an opportunity for discussions on relevant topics. OTHER: Parents and caregivers with children from birth to age 5 are eligible.

WE SERVE: Families with children from birth through adolescence across Whidbey Island, including Oak Harbor and Freeland. WE PROVIDE: Comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child check-ups, immunizations, developmental screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. OTHER: Children/young adults aged newborn to 16 years old for new patients (New patient acceptance dependant on availability - please call clinic to inquire if practice is currently taking new patients) and children/young adults newborn to 22 years old for established patients

WE SERVE: Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. WE PROVIDE: Baby (0-18 months), toddler (19 months to 3 years) and preschool (3 to 5 years) storytimes to prepare young minds for the adventures of reading. Music, movement, play time or art activity may be included.

WE SERVE: Families in Oak Harbor with young children, from infants to toddlers, who may need assistance in preparing their child for kindergarten. WE PROVIDE: Series of classes conducted by early learning specialists. Sessions include instruction in learning development, games, and activates for babies and toddlers. Parents receive free learning toys to encourage fun and growth at home.

The WIC is a nutrition program for pregnant people, new and breastfeeding & chestfeeding parents, and children under 5. It provides monthly benefits for healthy foods, health screenings and referrals, nutrition education, and breastfeeding & chestfeeding support.

WE SERVE: Children and adolescents who have complex behavioral health needs, including youth struggling with significant emotional or behavioral challenges. WE PROVIDE: Personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each child delivered in the least restrictive setting possible, preferably in their own homes and communities.

WE SERVE: Children and adults of any age, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation regardless of income, occupation, gender, immigration status or citizenship status. WE PROVIDE: Family dentistry, including preventive dental exams for children and adults, emergency or urgent care, and referrals.

WE SERVE: Medicaid-eligible children 5 years old and younger. WE PROVIDE: Assistance finding dental services for children that are nearby, available, and in your preferred language. We also assist with coordinating transportation and interpreter services for the dental visits.

WE SERVE: Island County’s WIC program is here for pregnant people, new parents, and children under 5, providing you with healthy food, free health and nutrition services, breastfeeding support, and access to local markets, all at no cost if you qualify.

WE SERVE: Individuals and families in our local community who need support with food and clothing. WE PROVIDE: Free food to those in need, including variety of groceries to help feed individuals and families, and gently-used clothing for people of all ages. OTHER: We regularly update the food and clothing we have available, and you are welcome to visit as often as needed. Diapers may be available depending on donations.

Families in need of diaper support can receive up to one pack per child every week.

Diapers are available to existing patients.

Join us for tea, conversation, support, free baby clothing, diapers, resources, and more at Jefferson County Public Health’s New Mom’s Tea. The New Mom’s tea is a free, weekly in-person gathering for pregnant people, people who have given birth, and guardians with infants and babies hosted by Jefferson County Public Health.

WE SERVE: Individuals and families in our community who are in need of assistance with food and essential supplies. WE PROVIDE: Essential items, including non-perishable food, fresh produce, hygiene items, diapers, and basic household supplies. We also aim to educate clients about nutrition and life skills. Your privacy and dignity are important to us.

WE SERVE: Preschoolers and families with young children. WE PROVIDE: Preschool (3 to 5 years) and family storytimes to prepare young minds for the adventures of reading. Music, movement, play time or art activities may be included.

This nature-based program is designed with fun and highly interactive experiences for the whole family. Programs last approximately 90 minutes and consist of exploration stations, crafts, stories, and creative play.
