Early Literacy and Family Support at Reach Out and Read Northwest

Early literacy and healthy relationships are supported by participating pediatric clinicians at well-child visits, birth through age 5. At each well-child visit, the child is given a new book to keep. Pediatric clinicians coach, model, and affirm positive behaviors and effective book-sharing techniques, building a  positive and trusted relationship with the family.
