A safe space for all families with babies to connect and learn together with other parents. During a baby lounge gathering, parents will be able to ask a health professional questions and meet other new parents in Pierce County. Pregnant / expecting families and families with children ages 0-1 are welcome!
Staff at Partners with Families & Children work together with families to develop relationships based on equality and respect, to enhance a family's capacity to support all members, and to partner to achieve their goals. We have various services and programs that assist, educate and advocate for you and your family.

This clinic offers support groups for caregivers of children who are or were receiving services from Boyer Children's Clinic through monthly meetings focusing on a variety of themes.
Services, support, resources and referrals offered to military families who have a family member with special health care need. Activities at Kitsap may include movies, swimming and bowling.
Offers free support groups for parents and infants of all ages. Covers topics such as lactation support, bottle feeding, loss of a child, prenatal bonding, and life phases. See website for details.
Offers a free, drop in "You and Your New Baby" support group. Parents, babies, siblings, friends and relatives are invited to drop in to talk about life with a new baby and share ideas about parenting.

Provides peer led, non-clinical mental health support to families experiencing perinatal emotional wellness concerns related to childbearing, including loss, infertility, pregnancy, and a variety of parenting experiences up to two years postpartum. Serves Black/African American, Indigenous and Latinx/Spanish speaking families in a hybrid model of in-person, phone, text, and video meeting weekly or bi-weekly.

The New Mom’s tea is a free, weekly in-person gathering for pregnant people, people who have given birth, and guardians with infants and babies hosted by Jefferson County Public Health.
BYS Family Services offers free and confidential parent counseling to parents of children ages 5-21 years old. Sessions can be in person at the family services office suite at The Marge Williams Center or via telehealth. Call or see website for details.

One-on-one parenting support with a peer provider of your choice. Available for mothers during pregnancy through the first three years after birth. Schedule sessions via text, phone, or video chat as often as you want. Each session is about 30 minutes. Peer support providers are available in English and Spanish.

Family Conversations is a program for families with children from birth to age three who are deaf or hard-of-hearing (D/HH). The groups provide time for parents/guardians to get more information, learn S.E.E. (Signing Exact English) signs, meet deaf/hard-of-hearing community members and connect with other parents/guardians. Playgroups for the children give them a chance to practice language and social skills using music, dance, story time and singing.
Provides assistance for rent, utilities, school or work supplies, fuel (for transportation), emergency food when the local food bank is unavailable, prescription medication, parent support group, play and learn groups, and resource navigation.

The CAPA/PREPARES program provides diapers, wipes, formula every 30 days with no appointment necessary. Other items such as strollers, pack and plays, high chairs, and baby clothing are offered every 60 days and need to be ordered beforehand. This program also offers parenting classes, case management, breastfeeding support, kindergarten preparation, and a support group for moms.

Better Together is a closed group for local families coping with autism and other disabilities to support and help each other. They are a small and local group created by parents of children with autism in the Tri-Cities. This private Facebook page is for parents and other close relatives only. It is to share knowledge, plan activities, and support each other in raising special needs children.
The Benton Franklin Parent Coalition (Facebook group) is a closed group for local families who have children with developmental disabilities. The group is for parents to share knowledge, plan activities, and support each other in raising special needs children.
