Teen Art Club is a free, monthly program for youth in Grades 6-12, where you can bring your friends and your creativity to inspire new pieces of art. Snacks, drinks, and art supplies will be provided. Due to limited space and equipment, we recommend teens sign up in advance. This program typically takes a break during the summer.
STAR is Island Rec's daily after-school program for youth in grades K-5. The program is held at Friday Harbor Elementary School after school until 6pm. STAR provides a safe, supervised, fun and enriching environment. The daily program includes a snack, outside play time, organized games & activities, and homework time. Students can drop in and parents will receive a bill at the end of the month.
The Afterschool Program is open to all students in grades 1-5 attending Orcas Island schools during the school year. Funhouse staff will pick up students from the public school at dismissal, and head back to The Funhouse for group games, activities, and free-play. Register online.
