Programs are designed to encourage creativity, foster learning and build essential skills and healthy community connections. OTHER: Services are available to all families with school-aged children in South Whidbey Island.
STAR is Island Rec's daily after-school program for youth in grades K-5. The program is held at Friday Harbor Elementary School after school until 6pm. STAR provides a safe, supervised, fun and enriching environment. The daily program includes a snack, outside play time, organized games & activities, and homework time. Students can drop in and parents will receive a bill at the end of the month.

WE SERVE: Youth in Island County ages 6-24. WE PROVIDE: Fresh experiences, mentor meetings, mental health support, and lots of have fun! We also provide exciting youth activities without barriers; no fees, no new equipment, no uniforms! OTHER: Any youth in Island County ages 6-24 are eligible.
After School activities for children 0-12. This program typically takes a break during the summer.
The Afterschool Program is open to all students in grades 1-5 attending Orcas Island schools during the school year. Funhouse staff will pick up students from the public school at dismissal, and head back to The Funhouse for group games, activities, and free-play. Register online.
