A subsidized annual pass valid for travel on King County Metro and Sound Transit services is available to residents of Kng, Pierce, and Snohomish County who are at or below 80% of the federal poverty level and enrolled in one of six state benefit programs.
All youth 18 and younger can now ride for free (this includes light rail, Metro, Pierce Transit, Seattle streetcars, WA State Ferries, etc.). Obtaining a free ORCA Youth Card is encouraged but not required.
The ORCA LIFT card offers income-qualified riders the opportunity to save up to 50 percent or more. Apply for ORCA LIF in person, online, or by phone.
Riders can use the Reduced Fare Portal to apply on their own for any of the following transportation programs, based on their eligibility and preferences: ORCA LIFT, ORCA Youth, Subsidized Annual Pass, and Regional Reduced Fare Permit for Seniors and Riders with a Disability.
