The 1..2..3 Jump Program is a free school readiness program for King County families with children 3-5 years old with and without developmental delays and disabilities. This parent-driven program is designed to help parents navigate services and supports, while preparing children for success in kindergarten.

Offers La Escuelita, a low cost educational program that serves under-resourced Latinx families and their children (3 - 5 years) who would not otherwise access preschool education. Please call to be added to the waitlist as this is a small program that serves 20 children at a time.
This program is offered free during the school year to families who live in Oak Harbor and may need assistance in helping their child become ready for kindergarten. Consecutive class sessions are conducted by early learning specialists who provide instruction in learning development, plus games and activities for babies and toddlers. Parents also receive free learning toys to encourage fun and growth.
Education support focuses on families with children ages three to five, to prepare them for kindergarten. The program is led by an education support specialist with over thirty years of experience in education. This provides an extra layer of support giving children the tools they need to be successful in their first years of schooling and providing ongoing support to parents navigating this new system. Education support also provides GED and ESL support for mothers and fathers.

Each spring, The Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center partners with local preschools and the local public elementary school to offer a series of activities that help incoming kindergartners and their families feel familiar with school resources and ease the transition into Kindergarten. The Transitions specialist also makes home visits to incoming Kindergarteners and their families, to provide one-to-one support and familiarize children with Kindergarten activities and routines.
The Early Learning Inclusive Play Group is for low-income families with children (ages 3-5) who have special needs. Playgroup provides a community setting where parents and children enjoy socialization time and receive skill-building support.
