La Leche League Seattle provides free, peer-to-peer support to breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and pumping parents. Our meetings are a safe space to share all your questions, concerns, and experiences surrounding lactation and feeding your children.
Provides lactation support such as assistance with low milk supply, painful latching, pumping, and transition from bottle to breastfeeding. In person and virtual appointments available. Services can start at 32 weeks.
This helpline is operated by La Leche League Leaders, volunteers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help families with all aspects of the normal course of breastfeeding.

The CAPA/PREPARES program provides diapers, wipes, formula every 30 days with no appointment necessary. Other items such as strollers, pack and plays, high chairs, and baby clothing are offered every 60 days and need to be ordered beforehand. WE SERVE: Families with newborns and pregnant mothers in Island County. Trained lactation counselors provide free lactation support to help with breastfeeding challenges.
WIC Participants can receive breastfeeding support from a trained peer counselor and also WIC staff. Active WIC participants are eligible for a breast pump at no cost and other breastfeeding supplies. Referrals to Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) as needed.
