The Outreach Early Childhood and Parent Support Program meets the needs of Island County parents and caregivers and their birth to 5-year-olds as they work to create healthy environments for optimal social and emotional growth and development.
Home visiting program for parents with children that have been recently discharged from any NICU, visits also occur in the Mary Bridge Children's Health Center &/or Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. Infants cannot be older than 6-8 months adjusted age and a referral must be placed through a primary care provider. Serves Pierce County and South King County. Please call for enrollment details.
SafeCare is an evidence-based home visiting program for families with children ages 0 - 5. A specially trained Child Development provider can make up to twenty home visits per family, helping parents build skills that enhance home safety, child health and developmentally appropriate parent-infant-child interactions.
This program consists of in-home visits for families with children 0-5 that helps parents understand and connect with their children's social and emotional needs. The program consists of 10 to 16 weekly home visits which are 1-1.5 hours in length.
Offers the Parent-Infant Program (PIP) which provides free parental support and coaching for the families of deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing toddlers from birth to age 3. Services are offered in the home.
WE SERVE: Military families who are expecting a baby or have young children under the age of 4. WE PROVIDE: Home visits from trained staff who provide guidance and education on topics important to new parents in the military, including prenatal health, newborn care, nutrition, breastfeeding support, and child development.
Offers home visits that meet each individual family's needs. During these visits, the caregiver is taught about child development, behavior modification, learning styles and parenting skills. Children must be 0-5, members of a federally recognized tribe or provide documentation of American Indian/Alaska Native descent.
Family Connects links parents to the individual community resources that align with their family's needs. If you live in Pierce County and you are pregnant or have an infant less than 12 weeks old, visit Family Connects website to request free, post-birth support from a nurse.
The program builds upon existing cultural tradition to encourage mothers and family members to increase their child's language exposure through singing lullabies and sharing stories. Includes weekly home visits from practitioners, establishes a network of families, and hires staff culturally and linguistically matched to families.

The Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC) Program is a home visiting program designed to help caregivers provide nurturing care and engage in synchronous interactions with their children aged 6 months - 4 years. The program lasts for 10 weeks and is also offered virtually. This service is free for residents living in Kitsap County.
The Pilimakua Home Visiting Program provides Indigenous-centered services to support the physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and cultural health of your child and the whole family provided within your home and/or a community location.
