Diagnostic Services for Children with Autism at Seattle Children's Autism Center

Provides evaluation and diagnosis for children ages 15 months to 21 years to determine if they have autism spectrum disorder or another condition that affects communication and learning. If a child is diagnosed with autism, staff will work on a treatment plan for their unique medical, behavioral and educational needs. A referral is necessary from your primary care provider to schedule an appointment.

WE SERVE: Families with young children, from birth to 3 years old, with disabilities or developmental delays Whidbey Island, Anacortes, and San Juan Islands. WE PROVIDE: A range of early intervention services that include full developmental assessments, occupational, physical, speech, and feeding therapies as well as infant and early childhood mental health, ABA services, education, parent support, and parent resource coordination. All services are provided in the home to weave therapeutic practices into daily routines. OTHER: Eligibility varies by program: Families with children from birth to age 3 who may have disabilities or developmental delays. Mental health services extend through age 5 (currently only on Whidbey). Children from birth to kindergarten who may have Autism (currently only on Whidbey).
